Dale Johnson

Dale Virginia Johnson, 76, of Prince George, passed away Tuesday May 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Q. & Annie BoCock Butler and a brother Charles Eugene Butler. She was a retired guard at John Tyler Community College and also worked at Phillip Morriss prior to John Tyler. She was a loving mother and held her grandchildren close to her heart. They were the apples of her eyes. She is survived by her loving husband; William H. Johnson, daughter; Brenda G. Saunders and husband Randy of Prince George, sons; Ronnie S. Sprouse, Sr. and wife Gail, Ricky W. Sprouse all of Petersburg, Steve W. Johnson and wife Cindy of Bedford, grandchildren; Michael A. Ward, Sr., Brenda L. Caster and partner James Marshall, Patricia A. Sprouse Saunders, all of Prince George, Crystal G. Walker and husband James, Ronnie â??Bubbaâ? S. Sprouse, Jr., Rick F. Sprouse, all of Petersburg. Rebecca L. Geling and husband Ben of Chester, Curtis W. Johnson of Bedford, five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a brother; William D. Butler and wife Jean of Richmond. The family will receive friends Thursday May 20, 2010 from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday May 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Chris Jenkins of Unity Baptist Church in Prince George officiating.
