Dale Ervin Weese

Dale E. Weese, 63, of Hopewell Virginia, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021. Dale was born October 9, 1957, in Pratt Kansas, the son of the late Lemuel and Beverly Weese. He married Melodie Effner. She preceded him in death on May 9, 2013. Dale was a lifetime welder, most recently working for Foley Material Handling. He was an avid New York Giants fan and enjoyed working on trucks and other projects with his son Christopher. Dale is survived by his sons, Michael (Tina) Scott, Christopher; grandchildren, Michael Scott Jr. & Madelyn Scott; brother Douglas (Martha) Weese; sister-in-law, Celeste Weese, brother-in-law, Jim Effner; nieces and nephews, Christal Walters, Eric Gibson, Lindsey Weese, Kristi Shelton and Angela Weese, Jason and Brandon Weese, and Nicole Effner Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Melodie; parents, Lemuel and Beverly Weese; brothers, Don and David (infancy) Weese; a nephew, David Weese; and Daniel Cubbage, who he loved and raised as his own son.
