Dallas Wayne Frazier, age 73, a life long resident of Hopewell, VA, died on Saturday, February 09, 2008, in Ruxton of Westover Hills, Richmond, VA, after a five month stay. He was born on December 29, 1934, the son of the late Ellis and Mildred Mizelle Frazier. Dallas was a life long member of the Church of Christ, Cawson St., Hopewell, and a well known newspaper carrier in Hopewell during his teenage years. He was a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson Vocational School in 1953. Dallas was a retired employee of Metropolitan Linen / Cintas after 36 plus years of service and was a passionate and dedicated Hopewell Blue Devils fan. He is survived by a sister, Diane Dugan McCarley and husband John of Nashville, TN; a niece, Christi Dugan Turner and husband Stacey of Spring Hill, TN; nephews, Mike Dugan and wife Amory of Nashville, TN, and Kurt Dugan and wife Amy of Jacksonville, FL; and seven great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Sunday, February10, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Monday at 11 a.m. in the Hopewell Church of Christ, Cawson St., Hopewell.
