Daniel Stephen Bally

Daniel Stephen Bally, 70, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Stanley and Nola Melliett Bally; brothers Charles “Chuck” and John Bally; and his sisters Nola and Carol. He is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Winn Bally; sons Daniel (Melissa), Alexander (Thelma), Jack (Tiffany); and a daughter, Jennifer; grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, AJ (Karina), Alyssa N., Alyssa W., Zackery, Samantha, Conner and Ashton; great grandchildren, Brandon, Noah and Skylar; brothers, David K. Bally (Laura), Richard J. Bally; and a sister, Susan Gregg (Steve). Daniel was retired from the United States Army as a Master Sergeant; he served all over the world including Germany, Panama and Vietnam where he served one tour. He then worked as a Programmer Analyst for Computer Systems Command at Fort Lee, VA. Daniel enjoyed woodworking, gardening, traveling and most of all spending time with his family. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Park.
