Daniel Clay Miller

Daniel Clay Miller, 61, of Chester, was suddenly called to go home with his Lord on Sunday, December 1, 2013. Mr. Miller was a hard worker and became a Truck Driver with Conway Freight, after retiring from Allied Chemical. He had a great love for the outdoors including gardening and fishing. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Phillip Miller. He was a loving father, brother, and son and is survived by his sons, Daniel C. Miller Jr. and Derek Cody Miller; his mother, Cassie H. Miller; sisters, Phyllis H. Miller, and Linda G. Ford and her husband, William; brothers, Ronald P. Miller and his wife, Brenda, and Donald “Lee” Miller and his wife, Donna; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
