Danny Jones

Danny D. Jones, 52, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009. He was born in Shenandoah, VA, and was preceded in death by his father, David Jones, Sr. He was employed with Correctional Enterprise for 23 years and was most recently a Warehouse Superintendent. Mr. Jones is survived by his sons, Daniel A. Jones and Samuel D. Jones, both of Chester; mother, Joan Shifflett and her husband, L. Ray of Elkton, Virginia; sisters, Joni Kimrey of Kernersville, North Carolina, Terry Merica and Becky Jones, both of Elkton; brothers, David Jones, Jr. of Bethesda, Maryland and Dale Jones of Elkton; and fiancé, Amy Holschuh of Chester. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. in Fieldâ??s United Methodist Church, 412 3rd Street, Shenandoah, Virginia 22849.
