Danny Ray Upton, Jr.

Danny Ray Upton, Jr., 36, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Wilson Upton; and grandmother, Nellie Upton.
He is survived by his beloved children, Whitney Upton, Paige Upton, and Sommer Upton; father, Danny Upton, Sr.; brother, Joseph Upton, Sr.; sister, Amy Upton; grandfather, Dan Upton and his wife, Dorothy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Danny worked in Information Technology for Dinwiddie County. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. Most of all, he loved his three girls and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1-hour prior from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Upton Family Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
