Daphine Schuman

Daphine Wiggs Schuman, 78, of Quinton Virginia, passed away Friday June 5, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Alexander Spencer & Mozelle Timberlake Wiggs and the widow of Robert L. Schuman. Daphine retired from the Defense General Supply Center after 15 years of dedicated service in 1995. She was an explorer and loved to travel to many different places including Europe, Hawaii and loved going to the beach. She spent many summer vacations in Daytona Beach, Florida. You could say that Daphine never meet a stranger and had many friends whom she loved and cherished. She is survived by two sons: Stephen Schuman & wife Denise of Quinton, Larry Payne of Pennsylvania, daughter: Donna P. Mitchell of Quinton, sister: Dorothy Priddy of North Carolina, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Monday June 8, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Tuesday June 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Entombment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park.
