Darlene Mae Bendall

Darlene Mae Bendall, 78, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ella Keller Eckenroth; and two brothers, Wellington Eckenroth and Wilbur Eckenroth. Darlene was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church and the Red Hatters Club. She is survived by her two daughters, Stacie Bishop and husband, Ricky, and Virginia Manley and husband, James; five grandchildren, Evan Bishop, Chelsie Bishop, Brian Bishop and wife, Heather, Angela Chambers, and Justin Harville and wife, Brandy; and seven great-grandchildren, Brady, Waylon, Brayden, Alyson, Lauryn, Tanner and Colton; sister, June Trivett; and best friend of 45 years, Frances Branco. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M., on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Central Baptist Church, 6405 Courthouse Rd., Church Road, VA 23833. Burial will be private.
