Darryl Clyde Mosbey

Darryl C. Mosbey, 87, of Sutherland, VA, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022. Raised in Robertsdale, PA, Darryl was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Mosbey.
In 1985, he earned his Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University. Darryl had a long career of public service. He retired as a Technical Sergeant in the Air Force, then again as a Senior Detective with the Petersburg Police Department.
Darryl enjoyed flying his plane, watching football - especially the Pittsburg Steelers - and singing and playing harmonica for the Glory Bound Singers.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Christine Walker Mosbey; daughter, Diane Mosbey Paarfus (Tom); granddaughter, Tiffany C. Taylor Goye; and step-grandchildren, Crystal, Flinn, and Ashley Garner.
A visitation will be held at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Monday, December 26, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a funeral service on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
