Dasan Lee Myers

Dasan Lee Myers (senior of Hopewell High), 17, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023. Dasan had a love for riding and working on his motorcycle, spending time with his girlfriend, Cat, friends, and family. He had a passion for shooting and collecting guns, and hoped to one day open his own Gun Smith business. He was very creative and liked to make things from wood. In his free time, you could find him listening to his music or playing his video games. Dasan was the most caring and giving person you could ever meet. He lit up every room he walked into and there was never a dull moment with him.
Dasan is survived by his father, Richard Myers; his mother, Lori Lee; his sister, Bryson Myers; his brother, Richard Myers, Jr. (RJ); his grandparents, Gerald Dean and Carolyn Myers; his aunts, Sue Mitchell, Candice Wood, Audrey Luna, Michaele Myers, and Audrey Myers; his uncles, Scott Mitchell, John Wood, James Myers, and Tommy Lee; his cousins, Megan, Kaylee, Dylan, Dean, Dale, Wyatt, Marley, Karri, Lindsey, Gina, Mann, Marco, Maricela, Giavanni, Giuliani, Luchiano; and many more family members. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jerry Myers; and his two grandmothers, Wanda Wells and Elizabeth Reed Lee.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the funeral home.
