David Lee Brown

David Lee Brown, age 91, of Chester, VA, passed away on March 12, 2025.

Born to the late Wilard and Evelyn Brown. David was also preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Brown and Dr. Wilard "Bill" Brown.

David was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Sarah Brown, with whom he shared nearly 69 years of marriage. As well as he was a proud retired union electrician with Local 540, of over 35 years. Outside of his profession, David had a passion for woodworking, he built a beautiful gazebo and cherished the simple pleasures of life, including sitting on his porch and enjoying time with family and friends.

David is survived by his wife, Sarah Brown; children, Cindy Evanoff (Chip), David L. Brown, Jr. (Rebecca), Jennie Butts (Tony), and Christopher Brown (Jamie); grandchildren, Elissa, Julie, Zach, Seth, Jessie, Krystal, John, Joseph, Brianna, Noah, Logan, Branden, and Taylor; many beloved great-grandchildren; brothers, Timothy Brown and Daniel Brown; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son.
