David Christenbury

Christenbury â?? â??The day which we fear as our last is but the birthday of eternity.â? David John Christenbury of Chester, VA, age 24, died peacefully at home after a long struggle on Monday, February 19, 2007. David John is survived by his parents, Pamela F. Christenbury of Ithaca, NY and Dave Christenbury of Chester; a sister, Brooke Jenkins and husband Ben of Ithaca, NY; two dearly loved nephews, Solomon and Calem; maternal grandparents, Roger and Charlotte Fedro of Suffolk, VA; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his beloved dogs, Draco and Dakster. David loved hiking in the mountains in Ithaca and spending time with his family at Lake Gaston. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield, VA on Thursday, February 22, 2007 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a memorial service following there at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions are made to the National Kidney Foundation 5001 W.
