David Jordan Crist

David Jordan Crist, 78, of Chester, VA passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. Born in Falls View, WV he was the son of the late Homer Crist and Thelma Marie Beaver; and was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Charlotte Edens Crist. Mr. Crist retired from Dupont after many years of service as an instrument mechanic. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a great love for his family.
Mr. Crist is survived by his three children, David Wayne Crist and wife, Jody, Jeffrey Homer Crist and wife, Julia and Tammy Crist Steele and husband, Michael; grandchildren, David Crist, Jr. (Lisa), Jordan Crist (Hannah), Joseph and Hunter Crist, Jessica Campbell (Dillon), and Tracy Patterson (Elijah) and John Steele; two great grandsons, Dawson Campbell and Easton Crist; sisters, Iva Griffith and Judy Belin and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
