David Gary Crumpler

David Gary Crumpler, 57, of Chester passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, June and Marion Crumpler . David was a graduate of U.V.A, an avid history buff, and loved to tell stories and write songs. He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Deborah J. Crumpler; daughters, Jessica E. and Jamie L. Crumpler; siblings, Barbara McCord, June Wayne “Sonny” Crumpler and Jewel Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Monday October 15, 2012 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday October 16, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
