David Ray Ethridge

David R. Ethridge, 63, of Prince George, Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015. He was born in Petersburg and the son of the late Doris H. Bragg and Woodrow W. Ethridge. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley E. Lundie. David was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church in Prince George where he rededicated his life to the Lord. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ethridge; daughter, Heather Mann (Brad); brother, Dana Ethridge; sisters, Helen Merritt (Robert K. Jr.), and Annette Bailey (Wayne); Step-children, Jennifer Arrington and David Moore; four grandchildren, Kayleigh Arrington, Bryce, Brayden, and Blake Mann; several nieces and nephews; and his loving companion “Jake”. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Oaklawn Baptist Church, 12601 Prince George Dr., Disputanta, VA 23842, on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Robert Livesay officiating. A reception will follow immediately in the fellowship hall. Burial will take place at Blandford Cemetery on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
