David Densil Goudie, 43, of Petersburg, Virginia died Friday, November 30 at home. He was born in Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada, the son of William David Goudie and the late Annie Parsons Goudie. Mr. Goudie was a Senior Water Plant Operator with Chesterfield County Utilities in Midlothian, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn H. Goudie of Petersburg, VA; stepchildren, Allen H. Anderson and Rebecca K. Anderson both of Crewe, VA; father William Goudie and stepmother Margaret of Lanse au Loup, Labrador; brothers, Bill Goudie and wife Rhondalee of Frederickton, New Brunswick, Jerry Goudie and wife Karen of Goose Bay, Labrador, and Phil Goudie of Goose Bay, Labrador; sisters Dawn Goudie Williams and husband Steve of Gander, Newfoundland, Sheila Goudie Montague and husband Chris of Goose Bay, Labrador, and Karon Goudie Nattrass and husband Roland of Bedfordshire, England. Visitation will be held at Fillatre Funeral Home in Goose Bay, Labrador. Funeral services will be held at the United Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Final arrangements are pending; dates and times will be posted as they are made available.
