David Wayne Huband, Sr.

David Wayne Huband, Sr. 76, of Chester, VA passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Born in Richmond, VA he was the son of the late Floyd R. Huband Sr. and Mary Tatum Huband; and was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy Hazelgrove Huband. Mr. Huband was a contractor by trade his whole life and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his three children, David W. Huband, Jr. and wife, Wendy, Kristen Bennett and Stacey Huband (James Hubbard); his mother-in-law, Virginia Hazelgrove Sanders; grandchildren, Travis Bennett, Karley Huband and Luke Hubbard; two sisters, Sandra Stewart and Edna Seymour; one brother, Eugene Huband; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
