David Paul Sizemore

David Paul Sizemore, 59, of Enon, VA, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Born in Hopewell, VA, he was the son of the late Elwood Lee and Ruth Alice Fridley Sizemore. David was a graduate of Thomas Dale High School and then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia State University. He was a United States Army veteran having faithfully served his county from 1981 to 1984. He was currently the proud Vice President of Esitech, Inc., an engineered systems security group, where he gathered alongside his partners and company family for over twenty years. David loved playing golf every Sunday with wonderful friends at the Fort Lee Cardinal Club where he was a member. He also adored fishing, watching old movies, aviation, history, traveling and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered by his family as a loving and devoted husband, father and brother. Mr. Sizemore is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Carrie Renee Sizemore; two sons, Zachary Sizemore and Bryce Sizemore; a sister, Carol Kissinger; a brother, Dale Sizemore; his mother and father-in-law, Raynell and Gerald Holman; the entirety of the Partin, DeVillier, and Holman families; and numerous friends and colleagues. The family will receive all guests at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home for visitation. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation or to the Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) Foundation, in memory of David Paul Sizemore.
