David Lee Vaughan

David Lee Vaughan, 48 of Dinwiddie County, Virginia, passed away suddenly on February 2, 2025. He is survived by his mother, Debra K. Harrison; and brother, Michael Vaughan, both of Dinwiddie, Virginia; aunts and uncles, Fendall and Terri Vaughan, Robert and Linda Wright; Russell and Lisa White; along with several cousins; and two very devoted friends, Franklin Southhall and Christina Moorehouse.

He was a loyal friend, devoted son, who was dedicated to his mother and always put her first, and cherished brother. David will always be remembered for his ability to light up a room with his sense of humor, and also his fashion sense that was described by many as "flashy". He was an avid golfer and poker player, but was best remembered for playing basketball around the Matoaca and Colonial Heights area courts.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Aldine Gussly, and Ernest and Ruth Cook.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 3:00pm.
