Dean Robert Berry

Dean Robert Berry, 76, of Chester, VA, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Born in Ann Arbor, MI, he was the son of the late Austin Berry and Wilma Timlin Berry. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Berry, James Berry, and Robert Berry.
Dean enlisted in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. and was a Vietnam veteran. He retired after 20 years of service retiring as Master Sergeant. In the mid 1980's, Dean found his Lord and Savior. He devoted the remainder of this life ministering especially to the youth. He is loved and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeana Kim Berry; daughter, Kimberly Berry Henshaw and her husband, Lewis; brother, Dale Berry; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
