Deborah Britt

Deborah L. Britt, 45 of Prince George, VA departed this life on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Prince Edward County, VA and had been a long time resident of Prince George. Mrs. Britt was preceded in death by her father, Richard E. Roberts, fraternal grandparents, Richard A. and Ruby S. Roberts, maternal grandfather, Marvin L. Ragland and father-in-law, Thomas R. Britt. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Joseph E. Britt, two sons, Dylan E. and Jesse W. Britt, her mother, Ethel Roberts, a sister, Sandra Powell and her husband Guy and their daughter, Amanda, maternal grandmother Lucy S. Ragland, mother-in-law, Barbara J. Britt, aunts and uncles, David Roberts and his wife Kathy, Edna Tinsley, who was a second mother to Deborah and her husband Marvin â??Edâ? Tinsley, and Marvin Ragland, Jr. and his wife Gray, two very special friends David and Debbie Lovering and many more nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 29, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 30, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Tommy Smith and Debbie Lovering officiating. Interment will be private.
