Deborah Lynn Rhoten

Deborah Lynn Rhoten, 59, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Ruth Blankenship; and her husband, Carl Rhoten. She is survived by her brother, Donald Blankenship and wife, Marilyn; sister, Dreama Blankenship Charles; sister, Carolyn Blankenship Bennick; loving friend, Lewis F. Bowen, Jr.; special friends, Pat Taylor and Heather Taylor; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Debbie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Hopewell. Debbie loved all children and enjoyed working with AWANA at Liberty Baptist Church, and she never met a stranger. Debbie was a devoted employee of Virginia Heating and Cooling. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2019 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Hopewell Chapel. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Liberty Baptist Church, 3808 Woodlawn St., Hopewell, VA 23860.
