Debra P. Thompson

Debra Ellen Patrick Thompson, 48, of Petersburg died Monday, January 5, 2004 at her home. She was born in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada and was the daughter of Betty Willis Patrick of Hopewell and the late Lt. Col. Roy D. Patrick, USAF Ret. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jack Harvey Thompson; three children, Kara Larissa Thompson Holmes (Brent) and Kami Lynn Thompson Adamek (Ondrej) all of Colonial Heights and Jason Patrick Thompson of Petersburg; three grandchildren, Derrick Holmes, Shaylie Holmes and Cierra Holmes; three sisters, Rhonda K. Patrick of Hopewell, Karen Knutsen of Norway and Kimberly D. Patrick of Prince George; and two brothers, Commander Mark S. Patrick, USN of Lorton, VA and Bryan K. Patrick of Harrisburg, PA. The family will receive friends at J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. After the chapel service, the family will receive friends at the home address.
