Decatur Everett Gunn

Decatur Everett Gunn, 86, of Prince George, passed away on Saturday December 31, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Decatur F. and Cleora Hale Gunn; brother, Malcolm Gunn. Everett retired from Stone Container after many years of services, and was a longtime member of West End Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jean Gunn; sons, Duane Gunn, Keith Gunn; granddaughters, Jennifer Jones, Tabitha Hirn; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Dakota; sister, Doris Koch; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday January 5, 2017 at West End Presbyterian Church 1600 Atlantic St. Hopewell, VA 23860 with interment to follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to West End Presbyterian Church or the Prince George Animal Shelter 8391 County Drive, Disputanta, VA 23842.
