Della Hill

In loving memory and home going of Della Marion Hill, 70, of Hopewell. Della passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born in Madison Heights, MI and had been a resident of this area for many years. Mrs. Hill was employed by American Filtronics until her retirement and was a faithful member of St. James Catholic Church. She was a well loved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Louis B. and Mable Viola LaFond Drake. Mrs. Hill is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gerald B. Hill of Hopewell, eight children, Bradford (Robin), Donald, Ronald, Brian (Charlotte), David (Tammy), Gerald, II, Valerie and Kenneth (Cindy), ten grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica), Jennifer (Christopher), Shannon, Michael, Brianna, Jessica Poe, David, Jr., Virginia, Crystal and Tiffany, 2 great grandchildren, Damian and Shawn, two brothers Louis Drake (Dorothy), Raymond Drake (Dorothy), four sisters, Shirley Drake, Doris Rothwell, Ester Smith, and Patricia Kreiger (William, Sr.), all of Michigan, and many other loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, April 22, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:30PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2005 at 12:30PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield County.
