Delmar A. Feil passed away on August 29, 2009. Born in Buffalo, New York on January 5, 1917, he was a graduate of University of Michigan with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering. He was employed by Allied Chemical Corporation and successor companies where he held various management positions during his 43 year employment, including Chief Engineer of Fibers Division. He was president of Tau Kappa Epsilon chapter at University of Michigan, an elder in the Presbyterian Church, former member and board of director of the Country Club of Petersburg VA, and a former president of the Resident Association at Rappahannock Westminster Canterbury in Irvington VA. He is survived by wife Margaret; two sons, Peter D. and Frederick N. from deceased wife Jean; three grandchildren, Justin C., Kirsten L., and Frederick N. Jr.; three great grandchildren, Sonia, Eliza and Christian Feil; and daughters-in-law Doris K and Martha. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday September 2, 2009 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg VA. The Petersburg chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home is in charge of services.
