Delores Ann Smithson

Delores Ann Smithson, 76, of N. Dinwiddie, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Minerva Conner Hollins; daughter, Debbie Osborne; and grandson, Charles R. Osborne. Delores was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She is survived by the love of her life, husband, Billy Smithson; daughters, Barbara Hammond (James), Anita Walker (Gary), Kimberly Tilley (Michael) and Torrie Ruxer (Rob); twelve grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and brother, Emory Hollins (Della). A funeral service will be held at Southside Baptist Church, 2007 Boydton Plank Road, N. Dinwiddie, VA 23805, on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
