Denise Renee Hitchcock

After a heroic battle with lung cancer, Denise R. Hitchcock entered triumphantly into the gates of Heaven on July 21, 2021. She was a proud member of the United States Air Force for 11 years and was most recently employed by Radiology Associates of Richmond. She loved cooking, most sports, her feline companions in life, and most especially her family and friends. She is predeceased by her sister Lori G. Madore, her father Kenneth M. Madore, and her grandparents Dennis and Genevieve Skinger. She is survived by two children, Katharine R. Stacy and Dennis R. Hitchcock: two grandchildren, Alexandra G. Stacy and McKenzie E. Stacy; her mother Charlotte E. Deboer; two brothers, Kenneth M. Madore (and wife Tammy) and Jeffrey R. Brown; as well as countless other treasured family members and faithful friends. Her remains rest at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, where a small memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on July 28. 2021.
