Dennis Beierschmitt

Dennis Beierschmitt passed away from heart complications on March 14, 2005. Born in Pennsylvania in 1950, Dennis grew up in Virginia and North Carolina. He met his wife Caroline in their early teens and they were married 35 years. He taught German and other subjects for 30 years at Thomas Dale High School, where both his children attended. He supported youth sports through the YMCA and as Thomas Dale?s first soccer coach. An active cyclist, he was a familiar figure riding throughout Chester and supported or participated in many charity rides. He and Caroline attended The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Richmond where they were active in peace, justice and equality efforts. Dennis was devoted to his wife Caroline, son Ridley, daughter Stefanie, nephew Chris and to his extended community of family and friends in Virginia, North Carolina, California, and Maryland. A visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 7 PM at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. There will be a Memorial Service at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Richmond on Saturday at 10 AM.
