Dennis William Dougherty

Former PGA Pro, Dennis William Dougherty, 60, of Roanoke, VA, and formerly of Chester, VA, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 after a battle with his health. He was the son of the late Margaret Ann Dougherty and was also preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Dougherty; and his step-mother, Mary Lynn Dougherty.
Dennis is survived by two daughters, Lauren Dougherty and Leanna Gee (Michael); his father, Thomas P. Dougherty, Sr.; one brother, Tom Dougherty, Jr. (Robin); and a sister, Theresa Gee.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
