Deontae Delmonte Allen

SSG Deontae D. Allen, age 27, of Prince George, VA, entered heaven on Decemeber 15, 2019. Born July 24, 1992 in Kansas City, MO to Curtoya F. Allen. Deontae later moved to Brookland, AR, where he was a 2012 graduate of Brookland High School. Upon graduation he enlisted in the US Army, completing his Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia. He went on to be stationed at Fort Lee for 6 years and then at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. He completed Air Assault training (2014), served twice in Afghanistan (2013, 2015) and was awarded the Army commendation medal and the Army achievement medal. When not serving his country Deontae could be found spending time with his family and gaming with friends and fellow soldiers. He was a member of the Unaffiliates Mopar group and enjoyed attending auto events with his son. Deontae is survived by his wife, Jessica and their two sons Rylan Mikhail and Nolan Malakai. A sister, Clareshatae (DeMar) Davis; aunt, Curtecia Porter-Williams; niece, Blaire Aniya Davis; unborn nephew Allen Davis. Aunts, Uncle, Cousins, and many other loved ones. He is proceded by his mother, Curtoya F. Allen; brother, Desmontae C. Allen; grandmother, Felicia M. Allen; grandfather, Curtis Ray Allen Sr. Family, friends, soldiers, and others whose lives Deontae touched are invited to the Visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday December 26, 2019 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the funeral home to reminisce, grieve, support and celebrate the life of Deontae.
