Derrell Webb Brockwell

Derrell Webb Brockwell, 81, of Hopewell, VA, died Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was the son of the late Walter Edward Brockwell, Sr. and Emma Rowell Brockwell. He was predeceased by his younger brother, Thornton Brockwell. Derrell is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Brenda Ingram Brockwell; sons, Randy Brockwell, Ronny Brockwell, and Jason Elder; daughter, Angela Elder Peade; grandchildren, Will, Jacob, Ally, Brandon and Victoria Brockwell, Lane and Lauren Peade; brother, Walter E. Brockwell Jr. (Daphne); brother-in-law, Riley Ingram; sister-in-law, Melva Ingram Armstrong (Bunn); sister-in-law, Tonda Williamson (Billy).
He worked as a General Foreman for Firestone Tire & Rubber Company/Bridgestone for 38 years. Upon his retirement from Bridgestone he worked contract with Honeywell/Allied Chemical for several years. He was an active member of the Masonic Dupont Lodge #289 in Hopewell for 57 years.
