Devon Matthew Poitras, 20 of Hopewell, VA, passed away January 18, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Joseph Gerard Poitras, and James King. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Poitras, and father Kevin Poitras; sister, Patricia Pulver and husband, Melvin; brother, Gabriel Poitras; grandmothers, Laura Jean Poitras and Martha Stearns; nephews; Aiden and Cooper Pulver; uncle, Scott Poitras; aunt, Lisa Melzer; as well as numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Hopewell Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Chesterfield Community Church 7110 Woodpecker Rd. Chesterfield, VA 23838.
