Diane Nunnally Petzold

Diane Nunnally Petzold, 76, of Dinwiddie County, VA, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin Nixon and Katherine Moore Nunnally. A member of Petersburg High School’s great class of 1960, Diane retired after many years of work at Petersburg OBGYN and Riverview Physicians for Women. She was a member of West End Baptist Church and enjoyed taking trips with AARP. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Earl Petzold, Jr.; son, Earl Petzold, III and wife, Eileen; daughter, Kathy P. Frink and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Kayla Petzold, Jake Petzold, Brayden Earl Petzold, Cooper Frink, Kasey Frink, and Colby Frink; great-grandson, Camden Parouse; cousins, Robert Lee Moore and wife, Evelyn, and James Gittman and wife, Carol; special friends, Robert and Becky Magee, Gene and Ellen Hamilton, Pat Perkins, Carol Boddy, and Francis Knott. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Blandford Cemetery. Diane was a supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and North Shore Animal League. Please consider donating to one of them in her memory.
