Diane Josephine Rice

Diane Josephine Rice, 76, of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Finley and Audrey Gill; son, Robert Earl Rice; her sisters, Frances Miller, Anna Lee Manske; brothers in law, Mark Miller, and Herbert Manske. Diane was a longtime member of Family Worship and Praise Center in Hopewell. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Earl E. Rice; daughter, Regina Rice-Hughes and her husband, Shawn; grandchildren, Sabrina Smith, Arora Smith, Cheyana Akine and her husband, Michael; great-grandchildren, Adriyanna Rice-Hughes, Athena Rice-Hughes, Katherine Davis, and two great-grandsons on the way; brother, James Gill and his wife, Janice; Numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be missed by all that knew her. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Bermuda Memorial Park. In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association 4600 Cox Rd #130, Glen Allen, VA 23060, or the Family Praise and Worship Center 2608 W.
