Diane Rochell Schrader

Diane Rochell Schrader, 76, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. She graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh, PA; and from the University of Pittsburgh. Mrs. Schrader taught at Bollingbrook School, Prince George County and Emporia County School Systems. She was a longtime educator and an avid reader. Mrs. Schrader is preceded in death by her husband, Byron Schrader; parents, Maurice and Gertrude Swisko Sperling; stepmother, Mina Sperling. She is survived by her sons, Alan Schrader and his wife, Cindy, Glen Schrader, and Marc Schrader and his wife, Joanne; grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Rachel, and Adam; brother, Mitchell Sperling and his wife, Esther; and other loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
