Don Mueller

Don R. Mueller, age 61, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, son of the late Robert and Elizabeth Mueller. Mr. Mueller was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp., and a member of Chester Christian Church for ten years before joining Colonial Heights Baptist Church. He was a past Adult Life Group Leader, and was currently involved in the Menâ??s Monday Morning Bible Study, Tuesday Morning Bible Study, Wednesday Lunch Bible Study, and the Emmaeus and Kiros Ministries. Mr. Mueller loved God, his country, his family, white water rafting, reading and politics. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Carol R. Mueller; son, Derek L. Mueller and wife, Leslie of Chester; daughters, Cindy Solomon of Chester and Nikki Snyder of Ocala, Florida; grandchildren, Kevin and William Mueller, and Sabrina and Jordan Solomon; and brothers, Richard Mueller and wife, Clare of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Larry Mueller of Naples, Florida. The family will receive friends at the Chester chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Colonial Heights Baptist Church on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
