Ret. M/Sgt Donald Raymond Huntington, 92, of Hopewell, died, Friday, May 06, 2005. He was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Mr. Huntington served in the U. S. Army during WWII and the Korean War, and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Florence Green McDaniel Huntington and his son, Doctor Franklin McDaniel, Jr. Surviving are his three daughters, Edna M. Harrison of Chester, Va., Maggie M. Fox of Alexandria, Va., Rosa M. Lewis and husband Ralph of Durham, NC., thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday evening, May 9, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Rev. Teresa Kezzel, Pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating visitation will follow the service. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mark?s United Methodist Church Cemetery, Nottoway Co, Virginia . Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen; Va. 23060 or Wesley United Methodist Church , 2109 Norfolk St. Hopewell, Va. 23860.
