Donald Jellie

Donald Wayne Jellie, 69, of Chester, Virginia passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008. He was born in Fincastle, VA son of the late Charles and Alma Quick Jellie. Donald is a Navy veteran and retired from Brenco, Inc. as a Service Engineer after 40 years of service. He was a Master Mason with Chester Lodge #94 and a member of Chester United Methodist Church where he was an active member of the Chancel Choir. He is survived by his wife Betty Jellie; sons, Donald Wayne Jellie Jr. and wife Diane and Craig Wayne Jellie and wife Debra both of Florida; daughter, Dawn Jellie Boyd and husband Keith of Chester; sister, Patricia Watson of Richmond; granddaughters, Elizabeth, August, and Barrett Jellie all of Florida; grandsons, Reed and Blake Boyd both of Chester; and 5 nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Chester United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park, Sandston.
