Donald Robert Lashbrooks

Donald Robert Lashbrooks, 63, of South Chesterfield, VA passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020. Born in Oneida, NY he was the son of the late Walter Lashbrooks; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Kurt Lashbrooks; his biological mother, Alma McIntosh; and a sister, Darlene Yaddow. Donnie had retired from Philip Morris with over 30 years of dedicated service as a Lab Technician. He was a member of several conservative political groups in the area. Mr. Lashbrooks will be remembered by his family as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Deborah “Debi” Lashbrooks; four children, Crystal Caudle (Steven), D.J. Lashbrooks, Dawn Tees (Kevin) and Shannon Godfrey; six grandchildren, Sean, Shane, Cheyenne, Carah, Kaylee and Evelyn; his mother, Helen Lashbrooks; three sisters, Sherry Forsythe, Kathy Johnson and Liz Austin; his mother-in-law, Sandra K. Hartung; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O.
