Donald Louis Moore

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Donald "Donny" Louis Moore, 42, of Chesterfield, Virginia, on January 13, 2025. While our hearts are heavy, we are comforted that his battered soul is now at rest. He battled many struggles during his life, however, his strength and desire to travel the right path, reconnecting with those who encouraged him throughout his life, was evident in recent years.

Born October 1, 1982, in Warner Robins, Georgia, he was preceded in death by his mother, Kimberly Ware. Survivors include his father, Jerry Moore, of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina; and sisters, Stacy Mason (Chad), of Remington, Virginia, and Tori Taylor (Chris), of Hampton, Virginia.

An avid Crimson Tide and Atlanta Braves fan, he enjoyed the beach, eating good food, and spending time with his nieces and nephew, Sutton, Lila, and Cora.

Visitation will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with private inurnment of cremains at a later date.
