Donald "Gene" Pyles

Donald Eugene Pyles, Sunrise 12/23/1932~Sunset 09/13/2020. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ivory Wolford, father Clyde Pyles and a sister Maxine Doyle.
He is survived by his sons; Danny Pyles (Donna) and Eric Pyles (Crystal); his caregiver and friend Charles Rembert, grandchildren; Chris, Robbie, Kirsten, Tyler (Gabi), Jonathan, Jessica, Ashley and Brittany; great-grandchildren; Zuri, Connor, Maizee, Elizabeth, Christopher, Kendriana, and Keontae.
Mr. Pyles was Honorably Discharged and retired from the Army National Guard on April 6, 1961. Born in Delorme, West Virginia he retired and settled in Prince George Virginia. Donald “Gene” was not only retired military, he was also a former tire salesman and former owner/operator of Gene’s Tile Service. Gene also enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and camping, spending time at the beach and working fixing up vans. A visitation will take place Thursday September 17, 2020 from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A Graveside service will be held on Friday September 18, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Bermuda Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
