Donald Monroe Robinson, 82, of Prince George died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at his residence. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired after over 20 years of service to his country. He then went to work for the Prince George Police Department and later the Sheriff’s Department where he was affectionately known as “Big Boy” and retired in 1998 after 21 years of service. He was also a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association and a deacon at Monumental Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Deane; his children, Keith Robinson and his wife, Denise, Donna Robinson Bryant and her husband, Tom, and Karen Robinson Hawkins and her husband, George; grandchildren, Scott, Casey and Clint Robinson, Blake Bryant and Donald Hawkins; great-grandsons, Tyler and Evan Robinson; and a sister-in-law, Connie King and her husband, Lonnie. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 6th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Monumental Baptist Church. Where a funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday with interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Monumental Baptist Church Building Fund, 2925 S.
