Donald Leighton Sechrest

Donald Leighton Sechrest, 74, a former resident of Dinwiddie County, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014. Born in Camden, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Edward Leighton and Elaine Shields Sechrest. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Scott Sechrest. Mr. Sechrest worked at Brown & Williamson in Petersburg until the factory relocated, and retired from Allied Chemical. He is survived by a son, Jeff Sechrest; daughter, Beth Creasey and husband, Wesley; grandchildren, Jennifer Bagley, Amanda Selden and Kyle Creasey; great-grandchildren, J.R. Selden, Mariah Selden and Mia-Bella Bagley; brother, Gerald Sechrest and wife, Jean, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
