Donald Rutherford Selden

Donald Selden, 70, of Dinwiddie, passed away on March 7, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ethel Selden. Donald was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time in his yard. He was a hard worker, but appreciated spending time with his family, and enjoyed trips to the mountains, especially the Rocky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Mountains. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Dolores Selden; children, Joyce Price and Steven Selden (Amanda); grandchildren, Kayla Pickard (Michael), Jerry Price III, Steven Selden, Jr., and Mariah Selden; great-grandchild, Elijah Pickard; sister, Lois Wray (Jesse); niece, Jessica Wray; and extended family members and friends. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road.
