Donald Trotto, 77, died Wednesday, October 13, 2015, in Petersburg,VA .He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Anne Trotto. He is survived by his daughters, Cathleen (Trotto) Tistle and Amy Trotto; siblings, Arthur Trotto, Theresa (Trotto) Summerfied, and Frank Trotto; five grandchildren; and his dog "Lucky."Don was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and is the son of Joseph and Madeline Trotto. He was a life long resident of Detroit until five years ago when he moved to Petersburg.Don was a caring and selfless man, always putting other's needs before his own. His love for his family, animals, and nature were the things that gave him the most pleasure. He was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church We will honor Don's passing here in Petersburg and will lay him to rest next to his wife, Thelma, in Detroit.
