Donna Michelle Akers of Hopewell died Thursday. She was 37.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4181 Prince George Drive (SR156), Prince George on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 3:00 p. m.
Mrs. Akers was born on August 24, 1967 in Oakland, Calif. to Delmont and Kristin (Taylor) Rothrock. She was married to Garth Harris in 1982 and Lonnie Akers in 1996.
Mrs. Akers worked as a CAD operator and a waitress and enjoyed spending time with animals, friends and family.
Survivors include her son, Adam Harris of Bend, Oregon, brothers Kevin Rothrock of Cumberland, Va. and Richard Rothrock of Salida, Calif., step sister, Jennifer Dickinson of Salem, Or., father Delmont Rothrock and step mother Patricia Rothrock of Sunriver, Oregon. Paternal grandparents, Rex and Clara Rothrock of Mineral Springs, Pa., maternal grandmother, Doris Taylor of Sonora, Calif., numerous aunts and uncles, and several nieces and nephews also survive her.
She was preceded in death by a son Christopher Harris and her mother.
