Donna Elaine Belcher

Donna Elaine Belcher, 76, of Petersburg, gained her well-deserved angel wings on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. A lifelong resident of Battersea, Donna was a faithful Christian woman, and a member of the First Assembly of God, in North Dinwiddie. Donna retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bessie Belcher; siblings, Robert “Bookie” Belcher, Rita B. Fowler, Maurice “Monty” Belcher. She is survived by her daughters, Rose “Rosie” Belcher Rathbone (Bobby), and Melissa Belcher Wilkins (Troy); grandchildren, Michael Rathbone, and Allyson Wilkins; great grandchildren, Colton Rathbone; Brother Larry Belcher (Sandy); sisters in-law, Margie Belcher and Peggy Belcher; nieces and nephews, Patti Williams, Robert Wesley Belcher, Melody Bage, Nancy Fidler, Larry Lee Belcher, Katy Belcher, Loren Piotrowski, Wesley Belcher, Stephanie Maximini, Steve Belcher; and many numerous great nieces, nephews, and all of her fur babies. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Donna enjoyed baking, crocheting, bible trivia, watching reality television with friends and family, spending time with family and friends, and utilizing her gift for spreading the word of God to all those she encountered. Most recently her joy came from coloring with Ally, and watching “Tec the Tractor” with Colton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Friday, June 29 at the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg Chapel. Where a funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 30. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery.
