Donna Jeanne Myers

Donna Jeanne Myers, 85, of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard Cecil and Gertrude Waltman Reed; husband, Charles William Myers; and son, Jeffery Scott Myers. Donna was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church. She taught preschool and was a homemaker. Donna is survived by two sons, Rodney B. Myers and wife, Frances, and Eric T. Myers and wife, Lisa; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A service of witness to the resurrection will be held at First United Methodist Church, 502 W. Broadway Avenue, Hopewell, VA 23860, on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00 A.M with The Reverend Chris Andress and The Reverend Randy McMillen officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
